"Walk Away" is a song by Jasmine V from her debut EP, That's Me Right There.
Background and recording[]
When she recorded this song, Jasmine said she had to dim the lights and had to just focus on singing and "tune everybody out." She said it was a different tone than she had ever sang before. Jasmine had a friend who was going through the same situation as the song describes. So when she recorded "Walk Away" she thought about her friend and put herself in her shoes.[1]
