Jasmine Marie Villegas is an American singer, actress, and model. She began her career at the age of nine before getting singed a couple years later. Jasmine is currently singed to Interscope Records and has officially released one extended play titled, That's Me Right There.
Early life[]
Jasmine was born in San Jose, California to Bernadette and Robert Villegas. She has an older brother who is the one who named her (after princess Jasmine from Aladdin). Jasmine's mother was born in the Philippines and her dad was raised in California but from Mexican descent.[1] She has three brothers, Rob, Jream and Justin.
Career[]
Jasmine began her career at the age of nine. She did modeling and acting until she transitioned into singing when she was eleven. Then she moved to Los Angeles when she was eleven to pursue her career more. Jasmine became involved with a music career when she was singing on the street, a producer heard her and then he introduced her to new people within the industry.[2] When she was twelve, she got signed with Dame Dash. She has had the same manager, Gabriella Mosci, for over ten years. When Jasmine was sixteen, she signed with Sony but she eventually parted from them because they were too controlling and didn't give her enough freedom. In 2013 or 2014 Jasmine signed with Interscope Records and got to officially release her first single and debut EP.
Personal life[]
Relationships
Jasmine has confirmed three different relationships. The first was when she was 15 and briefly dated Justin Bieber after starring in his music video for "Baby" and opening for him on his tour. The second was an "abusive relationship" when she was 17 which lasted for about a year. Jasmine's song "Didn't Mean It" is about this. The third, took place in 2014 but Jasmine broke up with him because it wasn't the right timing although "he's a great guy."
Religion
Jasmine has very strong faith (most likely in Christianity and has been seen praying before her performances.

Children
On November 2, 2015, Jasmine announced on Twitter that she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Ronnie Banks and on February 19, 2016, it was announced on Twitter that she gave birth to a daughter, Ameera Reign Eloise Villegas-Hackett via C-section.
